Balluff Radial Remote System

The new Balluff Radial Remote System features inductive power and analog signal transmission for applications that dont permit cable connections a wear-free, flexible solution with radial or axial coupling that gives the user a new level of freedom. New is the capability of processing up to four independent analog signals. The higher power level makes it possible to connect different analog sensors. In contrast to the slip ring principle, the Balluff Radial Remote system is non-contact and non-wearing, thus eliminating service and maintenance work. The system is modular in construction.

The non-contact slip ring works regardless of rotational speed and is reliable even under extreme ambient conditions. Like all the other Balluff Remote systems, the radial version meets the requirements for IP 67 for full dust and water jet protection. Sealing plugs are provided for unused in- and outputs.These Remote systems are recommended wherever use of hardwired sensors is either difficult or impossible, such as on rotary index or swinging tables, exchangeable tools or stamping heads, robot grippers or presses.
