VITsafeTM safety wash-bottles

For the first time, VITsafeTM safety wash-bottles are now optionally available made from polyethylene (PE-LD) or polypropylene (PP). PP adds a significantly higher level of resistance toward many organic solvents. This opens the door to completely new application possibilities, particularly where critical substances are being handled that cannot be stored in traditional PE bottles. An additional advantage: PP bottles may also be autoclaved at 121° C (250° F) for a period of 20 minutes. The VITLAB wash-bottle contributes significantly to the safety in the laboratory. The proprietary design of the metal-free, red coloured VENT-CAP virtually prevents leaking, dripping and the escape of liquid which sometimes can occur because of temperature changes in the laboratory. Excess static pressure is reduced according to the principle of gas or steam permeability. To VITLAB´s traditional narrow-mouth wash bottles we have added a new line of wide-mouth wash-bottles to our program.
