With a footprint of just 2 m by 1.2 m, the processing platform is the most compact system on the market that is capable of automating a wide range of ­applications, spanning from compound plate replication and HTS assays in drug discovery research to nucleic acid sample preparation in genomics laboratories. The system is the latest addition to the industry-leading BioCel family of automation platforms offering ­unprecedented compactness, flexibility, expandability, speed and affordability. The unique design utilises the reliable high-speed central robot found in the popular BioCel 1600, with the new capability of robotic reach outside of the system frame.
