New X-ray Portable EOD

3DX-Ray Ltd, a provider of leading edge inspection technology for security markets, launched its new X-ray portable Explosives Ordnance Detection (EOD) unit at MilipoI, in Paris, France.The system is a new, low cost, flat digital portable camera combined with ICMs well know CP120 or CP160 x-ray generator, which provides higher resolution images with material discrimination. With the additional capability of displaying stereoscopic 3D screen images, the system provides a much more realistic representation of objects, making it easier to detect threat items and reducing the incidence of false alarms. 3DX-Ray Ltd is focused on the development and commercialisation of market leading real-time 3D and 2D x-ray solutions for use in the global industrial and security inspection markets. The companys industrial inspection solutions include the turn-key MDXI unit and the X-Line for in-line inspection. The companys security inspection solutions currently offer 2D x-ray systems and the unique 3D baggage inspection system, Axis-3D, marketed by Rapiscan in their 3DSP and 3DLP product lines.
