High Pressure Fire Extinguisher HDL 250

It comprises high pressure fire extinguishers achieving their extraordinary efficiency by atomization of water.
The large water surface extracts the energy from the fire by cooling; the formation of steam limits the oxygen supply resulting in a suffocation effect. The fire is extinguished within shortest time at minimum water consumption – without water damage. The high pressure fire extinguisher HDL 250, which is an original OERTZEN design, has achieved the type approval of the Ministry of the Interiour Nordrhein-Westfalen under registration No. P3-1/01.
A highlight of the HDL 250 is the option to change over from high pressure water mist to foam mode within a few seconds – directly at the extinguishing pistol. Further advantages are: no setup time, short extinguishing time, long distance throw, low recoil, and - no water damage.
The HDL 250 is primarily designed for vehicle installation– however the modular configuration allows various alternative installation options and special equipment – depending on the clients' requirements, e.g. the mobile version on wheels.
Moreover, there are a number of drive options for the high pressure pump available, e.g. petrol, Diesel, or electric motors (also explosion-proof) – as well as a PTO driven unit. As a standard the HDL is equipped with the DUPLEX attachment for spray and low expansion foam. The optional TRIPLEX attachment allows to immediately change over spray to throw mode and to low expansion foam – depending on requirements at site.
